Over the years soap opera fans have been keen to point out any blunders they happen to spot in their favourite shows. From actors flubbing their lines to massive plot holes that don't make any sense, there have been plenty of mistakes in some of the biggest storylines in soap history. Today's top videos Here we take a look at our favourite hilarious soap opera mistakes of all time... 1. 'How's Adam?' - EastEnders One of the biggest soap blunders ever actually came from a rare performance - a live episode of EastEnders. With live TV there is always room for something to go wrong, especially when there's no chance of a do-over. Tanya Branning was the one who made the slip up when she was referring to Ian Beale in a conversation with Jane. Jo, the actress who plays Tanya accidentally called Ian 'Adam' - the name of the actor who plays him in the live episode. 2. Kevin forget's his son is dead - Corrie One of the most awkward scripting errors came from Coronation Street in 2015. Kevin Webster spoke about how it 'must be hard burying one of your kids' after Maddie Heath died. Fans were quick to note however that his own baby son Jake actually died in 2000. 3. Bradley Branning's death scene -EastEnders It was one of the biggest EastEnders shockers ever when Bradley Branning slipped off a roof to his death. Also in a live episode, the moment was ruined for some viewers who noticed the actor who played Bradley - Charlie Clements, moving his hand after he was supposed to be dead. 4.Anna's accident - Corrie Coronation Street fans were in stitches last year after Anna Windass attempted to use her crutches after was left injured following the explosion on the street. After returning home from hospital, Anna attempted to poor herself a glass of wine while using her crutches. The problem? She was holding the arm rest back-to-front, which would have made it difficult to do anything, much less pour a glass of wine! 5.Ronnie books a Shakespearean holiday - EastEnders Before Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell were famously killed off last year, Ronnie had attempted to make plans for a holiday with Jack Branning. She was shown looking up a stunning looking cottage supposedly in Dorset for the mini-break. The problem fans instantly spotted however, was the cottage Ronnie was looking to stay in is actually the former home of Anne Hathaway - the famous wife of William Shakespeare. As it turns out, the historical home isn't actually available to rent out and it's located in Stratford-upon-Avon. Doh! 6. Where's Eileen? - Corrie https://giphy.com/gifs/PoFf1AcZeIxQ4 Deirdre Barlow's funeral was one of the most heartbreaking moments in the soap after the death of the beloved actressAnne Kirkbride. If you were paying close attention to the funeral scene in 2015, you may have actually noticed that Eileen Grimshaw has been replaced by a look-alike who accidentally appeared in shot. Looking at the clip, if you notice the woman standing beside Michael Rodwell looks like Eileen but it isn't actually her. 7. Election debacle - EastEnders Eagle eyed viewers spotted a major blunder recently after Kathy Beale suggested she had voted in the last UK general election. The only issue? When the last election was held, she was actually in hiding after faking her own death, which would have made it pretty tough for a dead woman to register to vote. 8. Who was killed off? - Emmerdale Right now Emmerdale is really on the ball when it comes to packing a punch with surprise deaths and shock twists. Back in 2011 however, show bosses accidentally spoiled their own mystery plot after revealing which two characters would be killed off early. After a huge fire ripped through the village, the show bosses accidentally released future episode spoilers early, which named Terry and Viv as the victims. 9. Ben forgets he's deaf - EastEnders Fans were left giggling after one scene in EastEnders last year when Ben Mitchell seemed to forget he was deaf. After he confronted his captors, fans were left baffled after Ben appeared to reply to a question. Just as he was told he could walk away, Ben replied: 'So long as a suddenly go deaf, blind and stupid as far as you lot are concerned?' Awkwardly however, he was already supposed to be deaf in the tense scene... 10. Leanne's pregnancy massage - Corrie Corrie fans were left scratching their heads after Leanne Battersby went for a back massage while on a spa trip while she was heavily pregnant. Fans were confused as to how exactly she would be able to have a back massage with a huge baby bump. They can't always get it right every time!
